Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Phillip by adding your memories and photos.

My name is Devin Albrecht. When Phillip was a senior at FHC. I was a freshman. I never knew Phillip, but I bet if I did, we could relate alot. I am planning on going to the military when I get older to serve my country. When the casket arrived with all the wind rider guards. It saddened me, but also made me feel a little bit happy that he was being honored for serving his country. I want the

I just wanted to share with you what I witnessed today and how honored I am to have been a part of it. I had to pick my daughter up early this morning and I was running late. I arrived at Central only to not be able to pull in the parking lot. Why??? because there were 2,500 plus students and staff lining the entrance, sidewalk, and parking lot. Standing shoulder to shoulder each one holding an American Flag and

I am so sorry for your loss. I had to write something after viewing the procession journey to the burial, the firefighters set up the flag so I could see right out of the building window at work...truly bittersweet and beautiful! I want to commend your loved one for selflessly fighting for our country, that shows how truly special he was, and at such a young age! I know all the words in the world cannot heal the pain and

Phillip might be your son, but when he signed up to protect our country he now belongs to all of us. I was at Baue Funeral home this morning before work visiting my Dad who is

Parents and friends of our 2009 graduates will never forget the long, standing ovation for our children, who were heading to the Military following graduation. Phillip was one of them who stood tall in his graduation robe that day.

That evening Julie and Dave worked hard providing the much needed and appreciated Food for Party Central. The parents helping that evening survived. The kids had a great time and a great memory of their high school years.

Our hearts go out

I went to school with phillip from elementary all the way to high school. He was always a happy person, very strong, smart, hard working & dedicated. I remember goin on walks with him way long ago with our little group of friends we had. He was such an awesome guy. Good smile, always laughing... he was just a joy to be around.

When I found out about the death of Phil, it really hit home.... I feel great sadness
